HOW TO GET STARTED
There are many reasons to start volunteering. You can build your resume, explore career opportunities, complete Community Involvement hours required for Secondary School graduation, or just to do something great for your community. Whatever your reasons, here are the steps to get you started:
Step 1: Complete our Volunteer + Info HPE volunteer information form below.
Step 2: Our Office will contact you by email to set up an meeting *this could take up to 5 business days depending on volumes* & note sometimes your filters can send us to your spam folder....so so keep an eye out for our email. We will set up a virutal or phone appointment.
You can check out our volunteer database prior to your meeting to explore possible placements!
Step 3: Meet with one of our staff (over the phone or digitally) to set up your personal profile on our volunteer database, discuss your goals, and refer you to your selected placements
Step 4: Start your volunteer journey!
Always remember, Volunteer + Info HPE is here to support you and your goals. We want your volunteering to reflect your areas of interests, your time availability, and your skill set. But most of all, we want you to HAVE FUN!
