Volunteer & Information HPE Membership

Volunteer + Information HPE (VIQ) is a community-based organization supporting non-profit agencies, community groups, and businesses across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. With over 284 member organizations, VIQ connects people to volunteer opportunities and essential services while strengthening the capacity of organizations delivering vital programs in our community.

As a multi-purpose agency, VIQ supports volunteer recruitment, referral, retention, recognition, and education, working closely with members to build sustainable and effective volunteer management.

What VIQ Membership Offers

VIQ membership provides organizations and businesses with access to tools, expertise, and promotional opportunities designed to increase visibility, strengthen volunteer engagement, and support community impact.

 Membership Structure

VIQ offers Community Partnership Memberships for not-for-profit organizations and businesses. Membership fees are set on a sliding scale based on an organization’s operating budget, ensuring access is equitable and reflective of capacity.

All members receive access to VIQ services, visibility within the community, and inclusion in VIQ’s regional volunteer and information network.
