- Our Manager of Information Services will assist to heighten your visibility in Hastings & Prince Edward Counties with the following:
* A link to your agency's website
- Your logo will be displayed on our website with a link to bring individuals to your website
* Connect with local nonprofit organizations through membership in Quinte Area Volunteer Administrators (QAVA). This provides an opportunity for members to network and discuss issues relevant to the nonprofit sector.
* Consultation in Voluntary Sector Management
- Consultation with our Manager of Volunteer Services about volunteer management issues
* Workshops for Professional Development
- 20% discount on each VIQ workshop
- Priority to our members for limited space workshops
* Free advertisement on our website and on our event programs (Volunteer Celebration, Fundraisers, Dec 5th - International Volunteer Day)
* Volunteer Recognitions:
- All member agencies are entitled to nominate one of their volunteers as Volunteer of the Week to receive flowers and recognition in local newspapers
- Membered Agencies can recognize and share stories about the incredible work of their valued volunteers with a picture of the individual on our website. The individuals picture will be placed on the side bar and will be randomly selected to be highlighted on each web page
- Ruth Burrows Volunteer Award
- Maurice Rollins Community Leadership Award for Youth
- Investors Group Business Person Volunteer Award
* Community Key Discount
- Members receive a $5.00 discount off the regular $40.00 price of the Key
- Members receive updates and information regarding upcoming workshops, training sessions or events held by VIQ partnership agencies

How To Become A Member
To become a member of Volunteer & Information Quinte, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered not-for-profit and/or charitable organization serving Hastings and Prince Edward Counties
- Be actively involved in utilizing volunteers to deliver services to the community
- Have a person (paid or unpaid) designated to coordinate and correspond with VIQ
Rates
Annual budget:
up to $100,000: $50
$100,000 - $499,999: $100
over $500,000: $150
Membership applications are welcome throughout the year. All membership applications are approved by VIQ. You will be contacted by VIQ for a pro-rated membership fee invoice specific to your agency for the current year. Service will commence upon receipt of this fee. Yearly membership fees are due annually in September.
